Competition Racing Team
Our competitive racing team is designed for the beginning racer through the experienced competitor. Your child will ski with other athletes of similar abilities and the training will be centered on the needs of each specific group. The focus will be on improving each athlete's skiing and racing ability. With the choice of a weekend or 3 and 4-day-a-week program, the competitive program will help all athletes ski and race better. With on-snow drills, exercises, games, and lots of skiing and racing, we will build the confidence needed to excel.
Traveling Competition Team
Athletes in this program will find the challenge and excitement of high level competition. Advanced skiing and racing skills will be covered with an increase in training intensity. Athletes will learn how to refine and apply new skills in preparation of upcoming races. Members will travel and compete against racers at other ski areas in the state.
Masters Program
For the second year, SRRC offers alpine ski race training to experienced adult racers age 20 and over on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, as well as racing in SRRC's weekly Saturday Morning Race Series. Adult racers receive training alongside Junior racers in a separate group on courses for SL, GS and agility drills. No other membership is required for training purposes, however separate membership may be required if an adult athlete chooses to compete in sanctioned races.Click here for addtional information about the program.
Family Membership
This membership is required for former and present racers and parents. (family membership per household) who want to continue contact with SRRC activities. No ski training or racing privileges are included. Members receive newsletters via email and notices of social events. Family Membership is in addition to desired program.
