Construction of the SRRC Competition center is
progressing.
We want to thank all the members, coaches, and non-affiliated volunteers who
have come out to help. We should be ready to begin moving in in early
November, and will need more help then. Please go

sign up. Note that we still need cash
and donated items to help furnish the building. See the list below the
photos for items that we need. We're looking forward to seeing you at the
Grand Opening!

Thanks to Doug Detwiler for the custom-forged gold shovel.

Thanks to Ski Roundtop (now Roundtop Mountain Resort) for donating the
clearing and excavation equipment and labor.
Things were going great until we hit two springs, requiring additional
excavation and 10 more yards of concrete.
The Kinsley Construction guys blocked and rerouted the springs - footers
going in.
Walls forms installed & walls poured
The Kinsley guys gave us additional matting in the walls for bomb shelter
strength
Roundtop did a great job grading the site: note the level areas on the
front, side and back of the foundation.
After a few days of framing, the first floor takes shape
The framing is moving fast!
Jack, Kurt, Carson, Jeff, Casey & Bill lay out the decks
Day 2 of deck building: A few came home tired & sore but we're making
progress
Day 4, the "boys" show off their handiwork.
Decks and drywall are finished & the siding is going on.
The end of an era
Coach Bruce holds a referee clinic, the first "official" use of the Comp
Center.
