WHO WE ARE
We are a non-profit ski and snowboard sports club that welcomes youth from young school age through college. As a member of the United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) and the Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association (PARA), SRRC provides its members with various ski and snowboard experiences and competition opportunities.
USSA has certified SRRC as a Bronze Level Club, indicating that USSA collaborates with our club to establish a framework for success. The podium level certification process ensures our racing program adheres to best principles and practices to support our athletes' achievements.

OUR MISSION - VISION - VALUES
Our Mission: To instill and cultivate SRRC’s core values in all athletes to enable them to reach their full potential in life, contribute positively to our community and society, and become lifelong ambassadors of skiing and snowboarding.
Our Vision: To develop champions both on the slopes and within their communities.
Our Core Values:
Honesty: Honesty is fundamental to learning. Be honest with yourself, your parents, and your coaches. Learning requires honesty about how you feel, your strengths, and your weaknesses.
Commitment: Commitment is essential for growth. It involves dedication not only to practice but also to your coaches. Commit to personal and athletic development.
Work Ethic: Your work ethic will define you as you progress. An athlete's diligence will be reciprocated by the coach. The harder you work, the more the coach will push you toward success.
Pursuit of Personal Excellence: Personal excellence is demonstrated not merely through victories but also in leadership, growth, and coachability.
Passion for Skiing: Ski because you love the sport and the outdoors. Ski racing is a secondary outcome. Always remember why you ski.
Enjoyment: Fun is evident by the smile on your face at the bottom of the hill. The more enjoyment you experience, the more receptive you will be to learning.
Respect: Show respect to fellow athletes, coaches, mountain employees, and the mountain itself.
Sportsmanship: Sportsmanship is integral to the sport. An athlete exhibiting good sportsmanship will possess qualities of leadership both on and off the slope.
Humility: Humility involves acknowledging your true weaknesses. It is the willingness to admit them and learn to transform them into strengths.
Teamwork: Teamwork is vital. Learn from both coaches and fellow athletes. Healthy competition and collaborative learning with peers foster fun and growth.
Patience: Understand that the path to success requires time and perseverance.
